Privacy Policy

Ilchido does not ask for your name or phone number. Where your information lives depends on how you use the service.

① Without signing in (default)

• Date of birth, time of birth (optional), gender, and place of birth (optional)
• Usage within the app: readings you open, your daily pick, after-the-fact feedback (liked it / so-so / no), and unlock status

All of the above is stored only on your device (localStorage) and is never transmitted to our servers. Every reading is also calculated entirely on your own device. As a result, we have no way to see this information.

② Signed in (email) — to restore purchases or revisit AI counsel (Ask) answers

• Your login email (your password is encrypted and handled by our auth provider — we never hold a plaintext password)
• Purchase and unlock records (order ID, product purchased, uses remaining)
• The question you typed into AI counsel and the AI's full answer text — stored on our server so you can revisit it later. Your raw birth information is never sent to the server; only calculated, derived facts (chart elements, age, etc.) are used to generate the answer.

The above is stored with our database infrastructure provider, Supabase. None of this applies if you never sign in.

③ Using the Toss mini-app (앱인토스)

• The mini-app has no separate login screen, so we use a Toss-issued anonymous key to recognize that unlocks and free grants belong to the same user.
• We never store the raw key — only a one-way hash (SHA-256) of it is stored server-side, from which the key or your Toss account cannot be reverse-derived.

Information saved in your browser (① above) stays on that device until you remove it. You can delete it yourself at any time:

• Clear this site's data (cookies and storage) from your browser settings
• Or clear your browser's full browsing history

Deleting removes your birth information, pick history, and unlock status all at once, and it cannot be recovered, because no server copy exists.

Account information, purchase records, and AI counsel history stored on our servers (② and ③ above) are not removed by clearing local storage alone. Contact us using Section 8 below to request deletion — we will delete it promptly, except for transaction records we are required to retain under applicable law.

To improve the service, we may use the analytics tools below. They use cookies or similar technologies to collect non-identifying usage statistics such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, and your device type. The birth information you enter, such as your date of birth, is never sent to these tools.

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) for visit and usage statistics
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corp.) for behavioral analysis (heatmaps and session replay)

For details on how each tool processes information, please refer to the privacy policies of Google and Microsoft. You can opt out using your browser's cookie-blocking settings or an ad blocker, and doing so does not limit your use of the service.

To keep the service free, Ilchido may display Google AdSense ads. Third-party ad vendors, including Google, may use cookies to show ads tailored to your previous visits.

• You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings.
• You can also opt out of third-party vendor advertising at www.aboutads.info.

If you use the service without signing in (Section 1①), we hold none of your personal information, so there is nothing to share with or hand off to third parties. If you sign in or use the Toss mini-app (Section 1②③), we entrust processing as follows.

• Supabase — database hosting (infrastructure provider) for account information, purchase/unlock records, and AI counsel questions/answers
• AI model providers (Google Gemini, models routed via OpenRouter, etc.) — to generate AI counsel answers, we send the question text and calculated derived facts (not your raw birth date). We never send your name or contact details.

The analytics and advertising tools in Sections 3 and 4 are cases where each vendor collects non-identifying information under its own responsibility. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for any other purpose, including marketing.

Ilchido is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

If you used the service without signing in, everything you entered lives only on your device, so you can exercise your rights to access, correct, and delete it yourself. You can edit your birth information from the "Birth Info" menu in the app, and you can delete everything using the methods in Section 2. To access, correct, or delete your account, purchase records, or AI counsel history, please reach out using the contact below and we will process your request.

If this policy changes, we will post the update on this page, and we will clearly notify you of any significant change (for example, introducing server-side storage) before it takes effect.
